Custom Cedar Hand Crafted Bat Houses
A natural alternative to insect control around your property without using harmful chemicals, pesticides or poisons. Our solid cedar hand crafted bat houses are designed with two to three vertical roosting chambers and are vented below the roof to allow for proper air circulation. Solid cedar construction insures your bat house will be naturally weather and insect resistant. Thick cedar walls and chambers provide improved insulation over similar bat houses using plywood and other thin materials that can restrict chamber access to the bats over time.

High Quality, Hand Crafted Bat Houses for Natural Insect/ Mosquito Control
The smallest bat house offered will hold between 40-50 small brown bats very comfortably, 75 bats maximum. We also have wider and larger conservation grade, high quality bat houses that will hold 150 bats and up to 250 bats. All houses are custom hand crafted to order and are great for backyard habitats and naturally controlling insects and mosquitoes.
Rough cut cedar boards provide an easy gripping surface for the bats and each bat house has a vertical landing area that extends below the roosting chambers.
Our hand crafted bat houses are crafted to order with a highly recommended 1″ space between chambers to deter natural predators! A predator guard is an important feature for any bat house you may purchase! Air-tight construction insures your bats have a warm, dry interior environment during daylight and evening hours. The house is properly vented just below the roof.
Assembled with premium exterior glue, the houses are clamped, fastened with exterior screws and allowed to cure. The bat houses are then sanded by hand, caulked below the roof and front roosting entrance and then sealed on the exterior surfaces. Roof top screws are capped with hardwood pegs for a quality finished surface. A high quality house that will provide you many seasons of trouble free service!
